Titanic Hotel, Belfast
We were delighted when we were asked to be part of a photo shoot in the stunning new Titanic Hotel, Belfast recently! The extremely talented photographer, Peter Carvill, has very kindly shared some of his images with us and I thought you might like to have a sneak peek!
The Titanic Hotel is situated in the heart of the Titanic Quarter in what used to be Harland & Wolff Headquarters, a building full of character and history!
Weddings are enjoyed in their main banqueting suite which is within one of the historic drawing offices with the champagne and cocktail bar being housed in the second main drawing office.
The banqueting suite provides space for up to 250 guests and was dressed beautifully on the day of the shoot by SBD Events.
These stunning floral arrangements and bouquet were provided by David McConkey and gave the perfect classic look for the venue using large hydrangea and roses.
Then there was our cake!! As soon as I was approached about this shoot, navy & gold were the colours that came to mind! The antique gold leaf effect with the navy and marble really compliment the hotel colours and it even has a nautical look!
There are so many unique photograph opportunities! It really was difficult to choose my favourites from Peter’s collection!
I’m sure you will agree the models for this shoot were perfectly chosen, the groom Piaras Smyth wore a suit from Red Groomswear and the bride Melissa McGovern, ACA Models wore a stunning gown from Seraphim Couture Bridal.
Hair and make-up was by Maria Gorman.
If you are planning a wedding in the Titanic Hotel hopefully this has provided you with some inspiration and ideas. I for one am looking forward to a little overnight stay when we can get a little break away from cakes, perhaps I will blog about that too!
